Christine Ziemba promoted to HR Operations Director

Little City is excited to announce Christine Ziemba as the new Human Resources Operations Director effective March 7.

In this new role, Christine will oversee recruiting and training, using her incredible wealth of knowledge and experience in various roles of the developmental disabilities field to attract and build a dynamic staff at Little City.

"Christine has over 20 years of experience working with people with disabilities in various program and training capacities,” said Kelly Evans, Little City’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Her program experience gives her great insight into the high-quality applicants we are looking to hire and we are excited to have her join the HR team!"

Christine’s previous roles at Little City include training coordinator, assistant director of quality improvement and training and most recently interim director of Children’s Residential Services. Prior to Little City, Christine worked at organizations like Clearbrook, having served in home-based services, day services, community employment and more. She started her work in the developmental disabilities field while attending NIU, working for a student who had Cerebral Palsy. That passion led her to getting a degree in the field at NIU and starting her career as a DSP/Job Coach in supported employment.

Throughout the many roles she has had in her career, her ability to connect with colleagues and get the most out of her staff has been a constant.

“I am excited to join the Human Resources team and am eager to learn the aspects of my new position,” Christine said. “I am looking forward to working directly with Kelly and the rest of the team!”

While not working, Christine enjoys attempting to keep up with her very energetic 8-year-old son and traveling.

Congratulations to Christine on this exciting new role! Little CIty is blessed to have another passionate leader making a difference.
