Introducing Kelly Evans

Little City is thrilled to announce Kelly Evans as the new Human Resources Operations Director.

It is an exciting homecoming for Kelly, who worked at Little City from 2008-2014 in a variety of roles. Her time here included stints in adult programs as program manager, director of senior services and several other management roles. Since her departure in 2014, Kelly has worked in various human resources roles that have equipped her for her new challenge at Little City.

“I am excited and honored to be back home at Little City and joining the Human Resources team for a new adventure,” Kelly said. “I look forward to using the skills and knowledge I have gained in the last 7-plus years to help further the mission and vision of Little City.”

Kelly is uniquely qualified for this role, having both a deep understanding of staff issues and the needs of people with developmental disabilities. She holds degrees in psychology and behavior analysis as well as a masters in human resource management. She has spent 20 years working in the developmental disability field and has a personal connection to the mission that drives her passion.

“I have two sisters with disabilities so the disability field encompasses my whole life and is my true passion,” she said.

Kelly will essentially step into the previous role of Adrianne Brimie, who was elevated to Chief Human Resources Officer after Renee Watts’ retirement earlier this month. Kelly will work closely with Adrianne on major Human Resources initiatives and managing the endless issues, updates and support that comes with a 500+ employee workforce.

“We are so thrilled to have Kelly back at Little City and joining the Human Resources department,” Adrianne said. “Her experiences at Little City and in the Human Resources field make her a perfect fit and she brings invaluable insight and passion to the team.”

When Kelly is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading and exploring the great outdoors.
