Little City is excited to introduce Valencia Randolph, MA as the Director of Foster Care & Adoption. Valencia has been working in child welfare for over 20 years, and specifically in a supervisory capacity for the past 5 years. She has a BA in Sociology from Western Illinois University and a MA in Professional Counseling from Argosy University.
Valencia remarked, “I am excited to join the Little City family. I look forward to providing my years of experience and knowledge of child welfare to children and families in a different capacity. My contribution to Little City is a solution focused perspective and empowering others through inclusion and providing an empathetic ear.” Her supervisor, Emily Rawsky, Deputy Program Officer, shared that she is thrilled to have Valencia join the Little City team because she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion for the work and the enthusiasm needed to continue the charge towards excellence.
Valencia described herself as having an easy-going personality, and someone who loves challenges and learning new things. She enjoys R&B music, especially Anita Baker and Prince. In the summer months, you can find Valencia playing on a co-ed softball team or traveling, shopping and spending time with her immediate and extended family.
Congrats Valencia! Please contact Emily Rawsky with any questions.
