Little City is excited to officially introduce Phil Siegel as the new principal for the ChildBridge Center for Education.

Phil brings an incredible amount of dynamic experience to the role, having previously served as a special education teacher and administrator, a children’s show writer for outlets such as PBS and an educational toy, game and experience producer for places such as the Field Museum and Smithsonian Museum. He also holds a degree from Northwestern University, where he still guest lectures in the Master of Education program on sensory learning.

His wide variety of experience has allowed him to quickly connect with students and their families already. He said his focus is on teaching students and teachers alike to ensure the school is always striving to use the best and most up-to-date methods and tools in helping children with developmental and intellectual disabilities reach their potential.

“As a special education administrator, to best teach students, we must also be constantly at our best in teaching teachers,” Phil said. “The opportunity to implement new methodologies, best practices, and innovative technologies have never been greater.”

Currently, Phil and the entire ChildBridge staff is working diligently to provide e-learning opportunities for students and their families during the COVID-19 shutdown.

We enthusiastically welcome Phil and look forward to seeing all the innovative ideas and opportunities he brings to the day school!
